Hello there,
Hope you’re having a great week!

Are you a NASCAR race fan?

It’s February –  Yea NASCAR all year.

My son is a big Chase Elliott fan. He comes to my house every Sunday and cooks. Isn’t that fabulous? He’s a wizard at the grill. All my family shows up, we eat, watch the race and hang out.

Since I was new to the racing scene, I didn’t know which driver to pick. I love Mustangs. So obviously, I had to pick a Mustang Driver. I chose Blaney and he ended up being the 2023 champion! Woo Hoo! With the first NASCAR race this past weekend, I’m ready for 2024.

Hubby has been into muscle cars since we were teenagers. He has a 1969 Mustang Convertible and we’ve had a ball going to events and parades. Last year we bought a 2013 Boss. Can’t wait for March we’re headed to Ponies in the Smokies!

2023

This was Super Cool

Is this awesome - or what?

SAW Scottish Association of Writers

I was thrilled to be invited to SAW. I’ve always wanted to go to Scotland. This was an opportunity I could not pass up. I met some amazing people. And I can’t wait to go back.

While in Scotland, I also promoted a book very close to my heart. “Through the Eyes of Bea”

Read it to get an idea of excitement and suspense, while the hero and heroine fall madly in love! You’ll love it so much you may want the rest.

Trip across the states

While heading across the states, I’ve been promoting and giving away my latest book “The Daunting Greystoke”. I’ve met fans in the most unlikely places: Shopping in an Old Navy Store – Oklahoma, at the shooting range in Williamsville – Arizona, on the beach at Malibu, sitting on deck of a ship in – San Francisco …. in an elevator in San Francisco, two lovely ladies at the hotel lounge in Nebraska

And of course I gave each of them a signed paperback. of my latest book — “The Daunting Greystoke”

My first historical – $.99 cents

“BEA”
A true accounting of grief, sorrow, strength, endurance and love
in an era when America was struggling.

May   2023   be filled with pleasant surprises, lots of laughter and many blessings .

Welcome to My Blog

I saw this photo on my calendar and thought – Wouldn’t it be nice if writing a book was this simple. All you authors can relate – right? A glass of wine is often needed – like each chapter – or maybe in the middle of a difficult scene – and definietly when the book is finished !

So who can drive a stick shift?

Remember back in the good ‘ole days when we drove around the Burger Chef …. then headed to the Kenny Burgers ….. then spun around the Dairy Wright? Maybe in your town you had different names for your regular hang outs or drive-in spots. Guys liked to see who had the hottest car, who could go the fastest, reb up the engine at the stop light. Hardly ever did the girls get to drive. Well, my hubby – boyfriend at the time – took me to the Mall Parking Lot on Sunday – cause the malls were closed on Sunday. Can you believe NO shopping on Sunday? Stores were closed. Anyway, that’s where I learned to drive a manual transmission. On a MACH I, 390 4 Speed.

Wish I still had this baby !

Now he has a 1969 Black Convertible. He babies that thing.

Anyway, he’s restored it, and for years we go riding and he always drives. He finally let me drive it and guess where we went?
              Yep. To the mall.

But I took it on the road!!
